Join us for RidgeFest 2018!

Celebrate Wheat Ridge and its one of a kind charm at RidgeFest. This full day of fun for the whole family will be held Saturday, September 8 from 3 to 9pm, in the heart of the Ridge at 38 district. Localworks’ RidgeFest is a free event highlighting the unique character and culture of Wheat Ridge.

The event will feature four bluegrass bands, a classic car show, cottage foods, chalk art, vendors, food trucks, local beer, lots of kids’ activities and more. This year’s headliner, Oakhurst, will take the stage at 7:15pm.

What’s better than a slice of homemade apple pie? Swing by the Cottage Foods Showcase at RidgeFest and try out samples of delicious food cooked by your friends and neighbors.

Want to show off our favorite recipe? Enter the showcase! You’ll need to sign up for one of our categories, make enough of your scrumptious food for 60-70 samples, and be available on event day to answer questions about your recipe and your techniques. Sign up below.


At RidgeFest, we celebrate local artists, food producers and community groups. If your business or organization fits this description, please consider applying to join us for this year’s event. Show off your classic car at RidgeFest 2018. The car show will run from 3 to 6pm, giving participants time to explore the other aspects of the event. Awards will be presented to the top 6 cars, and there will be numerous door prizes. There will not be an entrance fee. Load-in begins at 1:30, and there is limited space, so get there early!
