Everyone and anyone is welcome to join us out on the green in front of the Wheat Ridge 5-8 campus for a free yoga class in the great outdoors!
Families, kids, beginners and expert yogis are all welcome! Just bring your mat /a blanket or enjoy the grass between your toes!
Classes are free of charge, but we would invite you to bring some non-perishable food items if you are interested and we will donate them to a local food pantry.
Please arrive early to sign in.
The walk, which is in partnership with Walk to Connect, will start at 6:00pm and the Run will start at 6:30pm!
The club starts on April 29th and goes until October!
The club will start their walk at 6:00pm and the run at 6:30 each week, but if you get there late you are welcome to still participate and meet up with us afterwards!
The club completes a 5K (3.1 Miles) each week by going through the quiet and safe streets of Wheat Ridge. Everyone is welcome to join and participants are encouraged to go at their own pace.
After the run/walk we welcome participants to stay and enjoy a refreshing beverage, a bite to eat or quality time with the great people we have in Wheat Ridge.
Live Local is partnering with the First Friday Art walk on 38th Ave. to host a FREE night of music, art, activities and food on Ridge at 38!
We will have a stage with live music all night(including bluegrass band Camptown and the ever popular Stealth Hippo!), live pottery demonstrations, performance art, food trucks and even a stilt walker! Join us for dinner, entertainment and art!
Businesses and art galleries on Ridge at 38 will be open with some fun special activities for the art walk too including: Teller Street Gallery and Studios, The Art Lounge (inside Colorado Plus) Posey Girl Floral Boutique, Peter Damian Fine Jewelry and Antiques, Studio 38, The Penthouse Gallery, Right Coast Pizza, Ananda Art and Tattoo, Kataluma Chai and more!

A collaboration with the City of Wheat Ridge for the official Tree lighting, this community focused event brings everyone together in the holiday season. Featuring Santa, storefront decorating, crafts for the kids, free hot cocoa and cookies, free horse drawn carriage rides, food vendors, artisans embedded in the local stores, live holiday performances, carolers, candy cane necklace souvenirs, and holiday festivities.

Trunk or Treat is a fun and safe Halloween event for children, where volunteers decorate the trunks of their cars and children “trick or treat” at them.
Last year over 1,000 children came to this event, and this year we expect even more! This event has participation from firefighters, police officers, and local community to make it a safe, fun event for everyone! It will also feature food vendors, a haunted house, “Trunk Decorating Contest”, games for the kids and “Thriller” zombie dancers to kick off the costume parade at 4:00pm!
If you would like to help out at this great event, please consider bringing your “Trunk” to decorate and pass out candy during the event or donating candy ahead of time. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

This family-friendly event, previously known as Wheat Fest, takes a new spin on an old idea by focusing on the things that make Ridge at 38 such a unique district. Ridgefest is September 13, 2014 from 3:00pm to 9:30pm on “The Green” at 7101 W. 38th Avenue so mark your calendars now. This festival showcases the local handmade appeal of both the Ridge at 38 district and the entire Wheat Ridge community through a cottage food contest (open to the public), local artisan vendors, food trucks, craft breweries, and a local “Homebrew Contest” sponsored by Brewery Rickoli and Stomp Them Grapes. In addition to all that, this festival features International entertainment by the Folk Arts Council, a “BYOA” (bring your own art) exhibition, and mobile photo contest by the Wheat Ridge Cultural Commission, field day games, a bike rodeo, art activities, free face painting for the kids and a Live Bluegrass Concert! The bluegrass concert starts up at 6:00pm but be sure to visit our schedule page to check out the full schedule before you head down. See you all there!
This Criterium is a Bronze level Rocky Mountain Road Cup race on a fast, 6-corner, 1.15 mile course in the in the heart of downtown Wheat Ridge on 38th Ave. In addition to racing, the event features a festive atmosphere with food, beer/wine garden, live music, and face painting among other things along Ridge at 38!
